Bib batteries and Autoviza have joined forces on a new EV battery health report for the French used car market. Autoviza is the country's leading vehicle history report provider, with over 500,000 reports produced every month through La Centrale. Since last week, every electric vehicle report includes Bib's SoH indicator, right alongside mileage and service history.

The goal is simple: Let sellers show off their battery health easily while reassuring buyers with an accurate SoH score before they buy.

A New EV Battery Health Report on Every Autoviza Listing

Used EV buyers can already check mileage and service records, but battery condition has always stayed invisible. Most had to trust the seller's word, or walk away without the SoH information. This partnership changes that.

Autoviza's EV battery health report now shows a genuine SoH score next to the usual vehicle data. Buyers see it exactly where they already look to decide. Because Autoviza covers such a large share of the market, this indicator reaches many listings almost immediately.

Both companies started from the same problem. Uncertainty over battery condition held back trust and value across the used EV market. So Bib brought its SoH technology directly into Autoviza's existing report, rather than building a separate tool.

How the EV Battery Health Report Works

Bib batteries measures SoH remotely, with no hardware installed in the car and no garage visit required. The test SoH process runs entirely on manufacturer data already generated by the vehicle.

As a result, Autoviza can request a fresh SoH score in minutes for any electric vehicle in its database. The score reflects real battery condition, not a rough estimate based on age or mileage. This also means the method scales naturally across Autoviza's full monthly report volume.

What This Partnership Means for the Used EV Market

For buyers, the EV battery health report becomes one more decision point beside mileage and maintenance history. For sellers, a good SoH score becomes proof, not just a claim. This also supports EV battery certification across the industry.

Ultimately, this partnership pushes the market toward one shared standard. Transparency on battery health reduces the friction that has slowed used EV sales for years.

Bib batteries and Autoviza plan to expand SoH coverage across more vehicle brands over time. Bib offers this technology through its EV battery health API, built for marketplaces, insurers, leasers and fleet operators.
